    • As far as we know non of the nationalities have been released. It could be that they are Korean members with Chinese stage names like Chen and Xiumin from EXO. Or mabybe they are Chinese with Koreanized real names like the Tasty twins. Or maybe they are Koreans who were born in China. We just don’t know for sure. ~James

      • They’re all Korean iirc? Yeah, I found the interview; they talk about it in the Cultwo Show Radio.

        Xiao says he’s from Busan. Jinhoo is from Changwon, Sunyoul’s from Wando. Hwanhee and Wooshin are from Daejeon, Kuhn from Ansan, Kogyeol from Bucheon, Bitto from Dong Ducheon, Gyujin from Icheon, and Wei from Seoul.

    • I thought Xiao was Chinese too but I don’t think he is because on the show Rising UP10TION he could barely speak Chinese

    • Everyone has their own way to tell them appart. I can always pick out Sunyoul (partially cuz he is my bias, also i think he has teeth that i see really easily…don’t ask). Bit-to always has a hat, he kinda has a hat obsession. This group is actually easier for me to tell apart that some other groups, but I don’t know how i tell the members apart. ~James

    • That all comes down to opinion, I personally don’t hear it exactly but I can kind of hear it, so I can see where your friend says they hear Baekhyun. ~James

    • We know. They are both considered Maknae because they were born in the same year. Typically in Korean culture Maknae usually covers all of the youngest by year and not by birthdate. ~James

  40. Lee Chang Hyun looks like Lee Chang Hyun from Def Dance Skool, a famous Korean dancer, who was training to become an idol, not sure if it is him though. But they look similar

    • I honestly don’t know if any of the members are Chinese, or Chinese-Korean, or what nationality any of them are – their nationalities / birthplaces haven’t been released yet. Top Media may have just given the members Chinese stage names…we don’t know. Sorry we can’t be more helpful – we’ll get it updated with nationalities when the information get’s released, if it ever get’s released.

  42. Just found out that Lee Joowon is his real name and Kim Wooseok is more a name given by fans…Lee Joowon was confirmed by naver or something I guess so that is his real right name^^

    • Naver profiles confirm that Kim Woo Seok is his real name, daum profiles too also cofirm that Kim Woo Seok his is name – I have never seen on either naver or daum that his name is Lee Joo Won. If you have a link to somewhere that is an official source with his name being Lee Joo Won I will look into it more, but this sounds like incorrect information to me. I have only found his name confirmed as Kim Woo Seok.

    • All groups are different. Up10tion has more than one maknae. Other groups go by the youngest by birthdate, and some don’t even consider “Maknae” a position.

    • That is just the release date for the video. Almost every group consideres their first stage on a major broadcast to be their debut, but it Up10tions debut will fall either just before, after or exactly on that date (most likely). We will add their debut when we either change their pictures or add their who’s who and discography page so that we can get everything updated in one go, to make it a little easier on ourselves. We hope you understand.

  49. I think debut is not so far away, because in the first chapter of rising up10tion Andy said they will debut one month later, and that’s the end of August. I hope I’m not mistaken and it will happening soon. ^^

    • I hope its true too, I’m really excited for them.

      On the other hand until there is a set date I don’t always believe even the CEO’s when they say something like this. YG said that WINNER would debut right after WIN: Who is next, and it took them almost 6 months. He said the same about iKON and we are still waiting on their debut (new date is supposedly 9/15) but it may still change. I Hope Andy meant it, I don’t like waiting. ~James

      • We know that today was their debut showcase. However in K-pop a debut showcase doesn’t always mean that they debuted on that day (i beleive Seventeen held 3 or 4 debut showcases over a two year period before debuting) 99% of the time groups consider their first stage (Music Bank, MCountdown, Show Champian, or Inkigayo) as their debut date. We understand that everyone is excited for Up10tion (we are too) we just work 12 hours every day so updates to tje profile will take sone time.
