    So basically isn’t it like disbandment? Only Krystal remains in SM…

  4. I know it’s not anything close to an “official” notice, but I saw today a reference in a Yonhap News story about Krystal’s upcoming OCN drama series ‘Player’ where it refers to her as “…Crystal from now-disbanded girl band f(x)….”

    That’s sad to read for those of us who still want f(x) to come back –
    but I guess the writing is on the (virtual) wall.

      • With only one article, and it being in English and misspelling Krystal’s name, I don’t take it as being very official. If F(x) ends up disbanding, or at least not resigning contracts, I think SM would actually inform fans of that – or at least many news sites would break that story – they are still a big enough group that it would warrant some news circulation. They may be really quietly on hiatus until their contracts end, but even that hasn’t been confirmed, so I have to believe that someone would release more information upon official disbandment

  6. Amber does in fact have a MV for Beautiful. also, she released a digital single, and with an Instagram post I suspect there might be a MV for it

    • The “MV” for Beautiful is a Lyric video. We do not include lyric videos as part of an MV discography here. I do know about Amber’s new song, I downloaded it when it came out at midnight, however, right now I only have time to update things on the site on weekends because I am swamped at work, preparing to move and trying to have some semblance of a social life. Please give all three of us overworked and underpaid guru’s time and patience. ~James

    • Yes this is a new song for F(x), however it’s part of SM’s holiday releases, much like how they used to release the SMTOWN albums, this time they are just releasing each artists song as a digital single, so we are considering this as a project release, just distributed differently,

  12. The f(x) wiki page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/F(x)_(band) says that Sulli is still considered a member of f(x) and is only on a temporary hiatus. They mentioned that SM Ent did an official statement on their page. Now I’m confused because a former member is for me someone who left the group for good.

    • The company has not made a statement on her leaving, but Sulli made a statement herself that she is leaving f(x). Which is why we feel comfortable saying that she has left f(x), we are simply respecting Sulli and her decision, over SM Entertainment.

    • SM has never given F(x) a fandom name. Most fans consider themselves Aff(x)ion like EXO fans used to consider themselves EXOTICS. We only list a fandom if its the fandom name is official, and as of now Aff(x)ion is the accepted but unofficial fandom.
