Afterschool RED and Afterschool Blue aren’t an sub-unit, their albums are considered as a part of After School’s discography and in various show these comebacks are displayed as an After school’s Special comeback. but i think a strong source is that their albums are listed as a As’ 4th single album.

    • According to Melon they are listed as separate groups, and it may have been a special comeback, but even though each unit Red and Blue released their song on the same day, they are credited as different artists which is why we also have their discography separated. They may have been a one time sub unit but they were still sub-units ~ James

      • We are not changing the discography. After School Red released one single with 2 songs and After School Blue released a different single with 2 different songs. Niether single was released as the group After School, I’m sorry if you disagree with that, but we are going off of what the Korean Music sites say and Melon, Naver Music, Bugs, & Genie all label those songs as After School Red/ After School Blue albums not at After School albums ~ James

  2. Ka-Eun contract expires on July 6th. Does this mean she Heila graduate from after school? Or are they abandoning that system too

    • It seems like Pledis is either refusing to mention the future of After School at this point, or they are pretending like there are no issues with the group and fans don’t care. We will consider her a graduated member, because we are considering AS as on Hiatus due to Pledis’s complete lack of information, as far as I know only Lizzy has spoken about what happened and she only says that they have “Unoficially” disbanded which is why we moved them to hiatus.

      By this point I think even the most serious of AS fans agree that Pledis is never going to give the group as we knew it a comeback, and that they are just being asses and keeping the girls under contract in the basement as long as they can.

      I could see them doing a DR Music and making a Gen 2 AS with a slightly different name did with Baby V.O.X and Baby VOX Re.V.

    • Do you have a source that they have OFFICIALLY disbandbanded, not Lizzy’s interview? I am sure that when the remaining girls’ contracts expire Pledis will finally announce that they have disbanded, until there is an official announcement we are going to leave the group in the Inactive category ~ James

    • Considering it’s an unofficial disbandment and some of the members are still currently under contract with Pledis, Manwon^^ and I have both agreed to move After School to our “Inactive/On Hiatus” section. Most likely Rania, Nana, EYoung and Kaeun’s contracts with Pledis will be ending soon and I think they would be crazy to stay there, so we expect that once all of their contracts are over, Pledis will belatedly announce the official disbandment of After School and we will then move them again. ~ James

    • Yes we know however Pledis entertainment had made it seem that she still may have a contract with them for Orange Caramel activities which is why we changed her status to just a subunit member. With her signing at a different label that makes an orange caramel comeback more unlikely but we are trying to figure everything out ~ James

    • They might not be disbanding. After School uses a graduation system where members leave and are added. That being said I do think group will probably be disbanding soon ad Plexus has not supported the members musically for quite some time. That is one of the reasons that we have not yet updated their profile. ~ James

    • So we got that updated, the situation is really confusing, because the way Pledis is making it seem is that she is only leaving After School, but not Orange Caramel. They claimed that there may be something happening with the sub-unit soon, but for the last few years the girls themselves have said many times that they have prepared things and then had their comebacks cancelled. So for now unless pledis is more clear about what is actually happening, we are just changing Lizzy’s status to “Sub-unit member”. ~ James

    • They have not said anything besides JungA has graduated and they are discussing the future of the group. In my experience that typically leads to either a complete disbandment or a massive line-up change. We’ll just have to see what Pledis and the rest of the members decide to do. ~James
