  1. I saw somewhere that the eldest member is Wonho. He is actually born 1992, and his full name is Lee Hoseok. Can you double check that information, because what I know is from Facebook – the Bulgarian fan group.

  3. All members of Monsta x are Korean (born and grew up in) only IM has lived abroad in the USA for three years. As for former groups shownu was supposed to debut with got7 but if you watch no mercy you get the whole story. And as far is I know nu boyz etc were only projects so they don’t count as full groups (as far as I know anyway) I would really recommend new monbebes to watch the whole no.mercy series only be aware your heart will break a few times.

    • I (We) have watched No.Mercy, I’m still incredibly bitter about Minkyun and I won’t ever get over that. [Never mind that he is a trainee at WM entertainment/or that I am a member of Monbebe and super pleased with the current line-up, it doesn’t soften the bitterness I feel]

      As for their nationalities we need a source that they are in fact korean. You’ll notice that there are several idols who everyone assumes are korean and we don’t list it because we have no source. The could also have a Japanese, Chinese or even Pakistani parent, like Taichi from Blanc7 who was born and raised in Japan but his mother is Korean. ~James

    • Nubility and NuBoyz never debuted – we don’t mention groups that never debuted, just like no one considers Hyunseung a former member of Big Bang even though he was a trainee with Big Bang, and on the program for their debut. As for the nationalities – do you know their parents’ heritages, because I certainly don’t.

    • We don’t do the self cam videos as part of their MV lists because the company doesn’t classify them as MVs – we also don’t have Amen here either for that reason. Though Wonho has been slaying my bias list for forever hahahaha

  6. Ok stupid question but isnt Minhyuk a member of BToB?? I just started to take interest in Monsta X and seeing the comparison and all idek…😂🙈 Anyone wanna clear this up with me bc as far as i heard Minhyuk is still a part of Monsta X but he looks like BToB

    • Minhyuk is a very very very very common name and Lee is one of the most common family names. Monsta X’s Minhyuk and BTOB’s Minhyuk are most definitely two very different people. Neither group has had any line-up changes since they debuted. ~James

    • I know right? Some people might judge them for being ‘heavy’ but at least they’re healthy! Some people from TOP media worry me because I wonder if they’re eating enough (All of Teen top are quite worrying and quite a few from up10tion scare me)

      • I think most of the time the companies just lie about their weights…same for heights…though many artists are really skinny I think the companies lie about weight and height a lot.

    • Nu’Bility never debuted nor did they ever release any music. They did go around and perform to try to promote the group but left. We do not count that as being a former member because there are way to many people that have been in similar situations to try and keep track of. ~James

  19. Omg. I just realize that I.M and I are in the same year. But hes an oppa to me. Omg I’m so happy! Hahahaha I don’t even know why I’m happy. Either because I.M is my favorite or hes an oppa to me. But I’m happy. And I really love his sense of humour. I watch No Mercy episode 8 which is when I.M entered. I felt bad for I.M and the others. I.M is like the victim because he entered a day Minkyun got eliminated. And the other members really dislike him. But I’m glad they have debuted and they get along really well. I feel bad for the others original trainees that got eliminated but I know, there must be a reason why they dont get to debut. And I’m sure all of them will work harder in the future. For the trainees that got eliminated, God has a better plans for all of you. Have faith, oppas! Hwaiting! No matter what, I’ll always support all of you through thick and thin. Be happy, and stay healthy! Get a lot of rest if you can. Take care!

    • I.M is my 2nd bias (but I’m kind of sure he’s going to be the 1st really soon) and I just realized that he’s younger than me only with 4 months but we have different birth years.. I really hoped that he was older than me TT TT I just realized that he was the maknae of the group so I rushed to this site and had my hopes crushed :< Whyy.. TT TT

  28. Hey there ^^ I have a question… I recently rewatched No Mercy and I am still very sad that Kwangji and Yoonho had to left… Do you maybe know what happened to them after the Show? Are they still Trainees? Or will they also debut? (I would really love to see them as a Rapper-Duo in another band ^^ Their 1:1 Battle was sooo amazing) I would be grateful for any informations ^^/)

  38. Hello! According to their MelOn showcase video, Shownu’s real name is Son Hyunwoo and I.M’s real name is Lim Changkyun. Those two introduced themselves as such at 5:29 and at 9:30, respectively.

    I don’t know much about him but I found out he was part of a group called Nu’bility.

    I’ve been trying to find more information on it but I’ll send you the links I have

    Since Special K Ent isn’t the biggest company I could hardly find things but here is a tumblr site that seems very informative but I guess you guys should check it yourself.

We always appreciate it ~ unfortunately for the boys of Nu’Bility the group never even got to debut – and because of this I can’t find any official sources that verify this information at all ~ though I do know he was born in 96…I need to change that on his profile…also because Nu’Bility never debuted I can’t even add that he was a former member for the group
      ~ believe me though, I am an avid fan of the show No.Mercy, and I am always trying to find the most accurate up-to-date info on them that I can!
