sm rookies is just a predebut thing for trainees with potential to debut in the future, but there are alot other trainees not on the show who are good as well. Joy was chosen, even though she was not in sm rookies, because she was good enough to and red velvet needed more members.

He debuted in both of the groups because NCT dream was for the younger part of NCT and NCTU was for he trainees that were older but mark was old enough to be in NCTU and they needed a rapper.

The thing with that is, by this point everything we find for his real name will most likely be on fan sites which we do no use.

Again i don’t know if its reliable but ive seen other websites have their last name. and for Ten he was a starship trainee
We unfortunately can’t use wikipedia as a source, and even though other fan run sites have the info, we only add information here that we know came from an official source (i.e: the company site, the group fan cafe, official facebooks, twitters, and instagrams, news articles, or the members mouths) And the same goes even for trainees, most companies don’t announce information for their trainees (unless they are on a show forming a group) so we don’t have a lot to go on beyond what the smrookies page gives us ~ we do appreciate your comment though!
