I came across an audition notice on Acoustic Entertainment’s Facebook page from 2018 saying they were looking for members basically to make a second season fo Blity. I haven’t seen anything coming out of it, but does it influence their disbandment date ?

I kinda had a feeling that would happen. When I pressed on the message on Facebook it didn’t load the written post with the pictures. (Now I must say I’m not familiar with Facebook at all so I don’t know if that’s normal).

That sort of thing doesn’t usually happen but the link works this time. As far as Blity goes, I really don’t know what to do with that, my best guess is that rather than try to make a “New” group they were just going to find new girls and make them essentially Blity. It would probably have been cheaper for the company that way because as long as they are still using the name Blity, I believe that they still have the rights to perform the songs that Blity had and not have to re-license or re-buy the songs. But I would venture to guess that that failed since there was still no comeback/rebrand. If in the future they do debut Blity2 we’ll look into it again and see what the best course of action is ~ James
Frientree’s homepage closed and there ar not any hints for a blity’s rebranding their Youtube, Facebook and twitter isn’t update since the end of 2016
For both blitty and bloomy we are going to hold off on saying they disbanded, homepages are the not the best indicators because paying for a domain is really expensive so many groups just decide not pay for one. Girl groups especially have been known to drop off the face of the earth and then reappear 2 or 3 years later completely out of the blue, so while we are quite sure that Friendtree went under and the two groups disbanded we are going to wait a bit longer ~ James

They are just looking for new members for Blity – that isn’t redebuting or disbanded – they just must have had a line-up change and are replacing the girls that left. That definitely makes the group still together, and still going
